ご挨拶
2025年4月より坂口記念講座 消化器生体機能解析多次元解析講座を開くことになりました。これまで様々な疾患において過剰な炎症を起こす細胞や炎症を抑制する細胞が報告されそのバランスにより疾患が発症すると提唱されてきました。私たちは消化器病の原因解明、治療法の開発をスムーズに行うため、①ヒト検体を直接使用した検討、②シングルセル解析、菌叢解析、2-photon imagingなどを駆使してトランスレーショナル、リバーストランスレーショナル研究を推進します。また日本のみならず世界の研究者と共同研究を推進することで消化器疾患治療に貢献したいと思います。

Greetings
I am pleased to open the department of Gastrointestinal Biofunctional Analysis and Multidimensional Analysis (the Sakaguchi Memorial) in April 2025. It has been reported that excessive inflammatory cells and inflammation-suppressing cells are involved in various diseases, and proposed that diseases are caused by the balance of these cells. In order to elucidate the causes of gastrointestinal diseases and develop treatments smoothly, we promote translational and reverse translational research using (1) direct examination of human specimens, (2) single cell analysis, bacterial flora analysis, and 2-photon imaging. We also hope to contribute to the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases by promoting collaborative research with researchers not only in Japan but also around the world.
